Just a girl and her thoughts whose decided to share. All original. 📔✏️

“And in the crevice of the nook, water appeared. It was flowing; it was falling, down. And the pool of wash invited her to dip and descend into the cold, cleaned. And she breathed out, and she breathed in. And although she was all by herself, she was surrounded by earth’s soft reminders that she was never alone.”

“And I couldn’t believe it, that in all this time, all this world, I hadn’t allowed us to meet, even though he was standing right there, beside me, with me, in every moment. And now smiling, uncontrollably, contagiously, I can’t believe, we ever, were, strangers.”

““Are you,” she curved her lips inward, hesitating, “Are you with her?” she asked as she stood feet together, eyes gleaming upward, a subtle swallow of saliva secreting in her mouth. Caught off guard his lips parted and he turned to look at her, his big brown eyes searching the features of her face for something he hadn’t seen.. but he could find no change in her physical appearance. It was her, as she’d always been. And he didn’t know what to feel. “Anna,” he broke... eyes still searching. It was the first time she’d given him any power. It was the first time he’d seen that she’d cared.”

“The moon rested peacefully in the clouds in the morning hour, not yet ready to disappear. And the sun and the moon shared the sky, shared space, for a little while. And as she drove underneath, she felt so small and yet so special, because it was all for her. And she felt peace from within. And it matched the retiring sky.”

“I saw what he wrote covertly in fiction, truth leaking, and my heart struck with pain I’d caused, and left behind. And I knew he still thought thoughts that might never come true, or would, if I could, solve, what only fiction could find.”

“And the doors opened and closed
Monotonously behind them
While his eyes searched,
They were searching,
For some sign, some trace
Of life left,
For them,
Between them,
That couldn’t be found,
As people walked in and out
of the grocery store.
And who would have thought
This would be the place,
Next the carts
and the welcome sign,
Parting and saying goodbye.
For as soon as the doors opened,
They closed,
Walking to their cars
Amongst the crowd
of departed customers,
One in the same.”

When one of your best friends makes and mails you a journal for the New Year even when you live hundreds of miles apart and you haven’t seen each other in months... so much love for this lady and this season. #GiveJoy #SpreadSpirit

And drinking watered coffee Because they were too cheap To make it right, They sat on the porch And watched the buildings silhouette from the sun in its set. His name was Leif And hers was Lady. And a winter’s days brought faired time In the cold, on a bench, Next to one another. although it could have been any other. But it wasn’t. Sometimes I just see these scenes and I write them down. I don’t even know how they’ll end until they come out through these fingers. What do you think?
