✨TONING DUMBBELL WORKOUT✨
Loving this beautiful weather we are having at the moment in the UK and it's set to reach 35 degrees at the end of the week ☀️☀️☀️!!
This toning workout uses dumbbells to add resistance and to help build and improve muscle tone. All exercises are performed slowly and with control. 👍
WHY - because slow lifts with weight can build muscle much faster because it forces your muscles to be active for a longer period of time.! It also reduces the risk of injury! 😁
To start with, use a light pair of dumbbells whilst you get used to the movements (It's surprising how fatigued your muscles will get throughout this workout!). 😳 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are a beginner, you may want to eliminate the weight altogether until your body gets used to performing each of these movements correctly. 🤔
Complete each of the following exercises before resting and then move onto the next exercise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Complete 2 rounds of 20 secs work/10 secs rest ✨Intermediate:✨
3 rounds of 30 secs work/15 secs rest ✨Advanced:✨
4 rounds of 40 secs work/20 secs rest
✳️Curtsy Squats ✳️Seated Cross Over Punches (feet raised for advanced)
✳️Press Up into Side Plank (half press up only for beginners)

After taking part in the Herbalife 28 day National Challenge (tone it category) here are my results!........

I have abs!! 😁😁😁😁😁 2 years ago I slipped a disc in my lower back leaving me unable to sit, stand, walk, run, even lay down and in unbearable pain! This caused my muscles to weaken and on many occasions my back muscles to spasm (one of the most painful things I have ever experienced). 2 years on... I am not fully recovered and still need to be careful and have restricted movement, however I can honestly say that I feel great and am in the best physical state I have ever been!
To achieve this all I had to do was the follow the Herbalife plan for 28 days!

We want you to get stronger But we don’t do it at the expense of quality, movement freedom or any other quality.
It’s true we all squat, bench and deadlift.

When we run a intensive block (3 x per year) it’s also true 95 % of our members get great results - losing fat and putting on muscle.
The biggest transformations though are not the ones you can only see.
