rejuvenate Images and Videos on Instagram
In life we get angry and frustrated. We grow old and we grow apart. We start a new life whether it’s with a new family or on your own. We watch ourselves get hurt. We watch love die. We watch time pass by, doing the same routine. We watch our souls die (emotionally speaking). We look at other people’s lives on Facebook and Instagram thinking “wow I wish I could do that, wow look how happy they are” but a picture is just a picture. We’re all still looking for that fire, that purpose in life. The only difference that makes you different from that person is they’re seeking opportunities while your living your daily routine. No matter how many times you fail, you need to get back up. No matter how many times you get frustrated finding your purpose in life, don’t give up. Don’t let anyone stop you from getting to where you need to be. Go out and explore, find your inner peace. Don’t let money be a reason why you can’t go somewhere. Don’t let money be a reason why you stay in that job you hate. Sometimes where you are and the people who’s been with you through it all is reward itself. Depression is real guys! Don’t let it take over! 👊 #knowyourworth #laugh #soulsearching #love #smilemore #beblessed #venture #stayblessed #rejuvenate
Nourishing almond saffron elixir to start the day.
A lovely glass to rejuvenate and energise the mind and body. As well as nourishment it's important for us to find ways to rejuvenate ourselves to bring about a sense of balance and calm to our mind and body. Rejuvenation helps to bring joy and vitality to life.
In Ayurvedic teachings rejuvenation is known as rasayana. Rasa meaning 'juicy and ayana meaning 'extending - extending our juice - so rejuvenation is about increasing both the quality and quantity of satisfaction and enjoyment of life.
This is a lovely little drink from my Pukka 'cleanse, nuture, restore with herbal tea' book which serves 1:
10 almonds soaked over night in water
5 strands of saffron
Cardamom seeds from 1 - 2 pods
Honey to taste
Soak the almonds over night. Next day remove the outer skin. Put almonds in blender with all the other ingredients and whizz. Add honey to taste.
Drink 1st thing in the morning to experience a cup of joy 😁
Almonds are nutrient dense to nourish our deep tissues, soaking activates them to release their nutrients, it neutralizes the enzymes allowing proper digestion. Saffron is lovely and uplifting, the cardamom helps to awaken our digestive system and the mind and the honey bring pleasure to our sense of taste.
How are you rejuvenating yourself today?
