Are you looking to maintain weight? Lose weight? Or gain weight? To achieve this goal it’s really simple, but not necessarily easy to execute!
Here’s how simple it is in terms of numbers ... We have person A 👩🏼⚕️ Their body burns 2000 calories during the day & they consume 2000 calories = they will maintain their weight. Person B 👨🏽🚒 Their body burns 2000 calories and they consume 3000 = they will gain weight. Person C 👩🏾💻 their body burns 2000 calories and they consume 1500 = they will lose weight. This is how simple it really is.
Depending on your goal here’s a few tips to stay on target.
1) 📲 track your food - my fitness pal would be the most likely app to use. Work out your TDEE (you can google this) type in your calorie target on MFP and start ACCURATELY tracking your intake. You manage what you monitor!
2)🏋️♀️ Workout specific to your goal. If you’re looking to build muscle then it’s probably no good for you if you’re going out running for 45 minutes 3 times a week, or doing 45 minute spin classes every day. You have to TRAIN specific to your goal.
3) 🍗 Hit your protein intake. So many benefits to this... helps repair, recover and restore your muscles, will help your body feel fuller and so on... general guide to working this out - your weight in kg x by (1.2 to 1.8gm) this number Varys depending on a few factors so maybe look up / research yourself or speak to a professional first to help.
