Caribbean Sunset has them all- Jerk Chicken🐔, Jerk Pork🐽, Oxtail🐂, Curry Goat🐐, Stew Chicken🐔, Stew Beef🐮, BBQ chicken🐔, and seafood 🐟 main course. They have options for Vegetarian 🌱 and Vegan 🌴 Menu as well :) _____________________
Chef Douglas' father also makes his own pepper sauce from scratch🔥. If you enjoy hot thang, ask the chef for trying the pepper sauce! - I loved it, personally!
At Caribbean Sunset, you MUST try their "Doubles". Have you tried " Doubles" before?
Yes, they're always called "doubles," never in the singular. Doubles are deep-fried and hearty, yet totally vegan! Mmm!! _______________________
I would say Doubles are the best Caribbean sandwich! Apparently, Doubles is a street food snack often eaten for breakfast. -I'd eat anytime! 👅 Doubles have clear Indian roots.
The filling is a spiced chickpea curry called channa, "Ah! I love❤ Channa!" kicked up with a hot pepper sauce, pickled green mango, and a tart tamarind sauce. All that is sandwiched in hot, fried flat-bread.😋
Maaaan, Chef Douglas makes FANTASTIC DOUBLES!!!! And it's $3!!! Woa woa Woa!!! 😍
You also need to try Trini- Style Chow Mein. Isn't it unique?

I've been doing a lot more meal prep lately as I find it makes life so much easier. Not only do I have better energy because I'm intentionally planning healthier meals ahead of time and not skipping meals, I also find meal planning is key when it comes to reaching my health goals! It's also nice to have meals prepped for Hemsley 👧🏼 too, then I'm not stuck at lunch-time thinking "what the heck am I going to feed her?!". ⠀

A big veggie bowl is just what I needed tonight! After I go grocery shopping I love to roast up a lot of my veggies and make lunch for the week! I’m a total leftovers girl and those huge sweet potatoes from Trader Joe’s are gonna last me longggg time! I’m hyped about it actually! Everything in this bowl is from @traderjoes •veggie bowl•
Roasted sweet potato + broccoli + asparagus. I roast them all at 400 for 30 mins with lots of seasoning. I put them over my spinach and kale mix and added a soft boiled egg 🔥 #meatlessmonday
YOU GUYS!!!! They are delicious! Obviously I tried a few different flavors but my fav are the coconut yogurt with raspberries and dark chocolate. 🍫 I love when I find a new idea that uses things I already have at my house! This also helps me find a way to be financially frugal by using items that other wise would have gone into the trash with in a few days! And the fact that they taste great just adds to the satisfaction! Don’t waste! Be creative! 💕🍫😊

1/.Ajoblanco (cold almond soup), mango, dried tuna & basil oil.
2/.Zucchini carpaccio, pickled baby anchovies & goat cheese shavings.
3/.Cantabrian anchovies filets with roasted eggplant puré & cream cheese.
4/.Salted baked potatoes with “mojo picon” (spicy sauce from Las Canarias).
5/.Stuffed figs with goats cheese, & foie.
