So this is a face I make a lot at work.  Lol. Because I'm stuck behind a desk a day when all I want to do is get up and move. 
Even with my desk job I still do my beat to hit a daily step goal of 10 to 15 k!! This has been a big part of my #weightlossjourney so far, but one little bit still frustrates me.  I figured all the extra walking would slim my legs down, and I try to some #legworkouts when I can.  In a year and 90 pounds down, my calves have still only lost 2 inches ( swipe left if you dare =p). Anywho, I'm finally to the point where I want to ramp up my targeted body workouts.  So pleas let me know your take on what's best for legs and calves, because these boots are super cute, and I want to wear then more often. 50 squats, 20 second elbow plank, 25 crunches, 5 push ups. πŸ™ŒπŸΎ My form isn’t perfect but I got it done. πŸ‘ŠπŸΎ My form will improve as the challenge moves foward. Come join me and a group of others in this challenge... to better πŸ’ͺ🏾 I did all 4 challenges at 2am this morning while at work on break. Plus after work got in a 2 mile walk. You hate your body and want change so what do you do? You message someone you admire and hop into a strict plan. You go ALL IN and you slip up because of it, you get discouraged and begin to feel doubtful so you quit. This cycle will continue until you feel hopeless and you never try again. You accept that you’re stuck in the body you’re given and you’ll live despising those around you who have what you want. NOBODY GOT WHERE THEY WERE GOING BY BEING PERFECT. And to expect perfection ESPECIALLY at the beginning will only result in failure. LOVE YOURSELF, forgive yourself, be patient and give credit where credit is due. If you are doing ANYTHING positive to get you to where you want to go, give yourself a pat on the back and know that IN TIME, with consistent effort, you will get where you want to go. Anyone that knows me knows that I love a good platter. I am very proud of my platter creations and especially my fancy cut kiwis πŸ₯ 
I love that we can inspire kids to eat make healthy choices in fun ways like this. Leo’s birthday party on Sunday, we served fresh fruits, date and coconut balls, meats, cheese and nuts plus avocado sushi. 
Of course we also had an epic chocolate cake that wasn’t gluten, dairy or sugar free and it was so good! Life’s all about balance right?! Exactly the same way I love to help educate and teach my kids I love to do the same with my clients. Instead of deprivation I teach you how to learn to love fresh, whole foods. Knowing how to prepare them so they taste incredible and also most importantly I love empowering women to never diet again but instead to shift slowly towards a lifestyle that can be sustained long term. 
I would love to know what your favourite healthy switch is?! A few of mine that I’ve successfully maintained over the last 6 years... Coconut / Almond milk instead of cows milk. 
Kombucha instead of ice tea. 
Protein balls instead of chocolate. (Most of the time πŸ˜‚) Zucchini spirals instead of wheat pasta. 
Vodka Soda instead of sugary cocktails. 
Organic meat instead of non-organic. 
Home made marinades instead of store bought.

Rambling post beware... It's been a tough few weeks. Physically and mentally. Unfortunately my anxiety and panic attacks that I thought I had gotten over have come back with a vengeance. World's biggest panic attack hit on Friday night. Not fun to say the least. 
Now that my body is physically back to full health I needed to get my mental state under control. The only thing I have found that can do this is lifting. Headphones in and zone out. Concentrate on picking up that heavy bar of metal. It works for me. It's just a shame that the amount of hours I have been doing means that I havent been able to train. But guess what..... 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 New 1RM pb!! I hit a bench of 45kg for 1 rep. That is massive for me. One day I would love to bench my body weight. I think I can see that day in the not so distant future... especially once I've lost the stone I want to shift πŸ˜‚

This is a set at 40kg... I'll be honest I didn't expect to even be able to do one... let alone this lot and 1 rep at 45kg. I'm so happy. Smashed my chest and tris session and I'm pumped and ready for back and bis either tomorrow or Wednesday. -------------------------
