“There was nothing there to protect me but God, nothing to distract my feeling of equality. … I was just alone in a position that millions were watching and I hope the millions realized that it was a pride in how I felt about a country that did not represent me. I was proud of the country, but even the greatest things in the world need attention when they’re not as strong as they could be. It was a cry for freedom.”

So much love for this photo, not only does it empower females who wish to pursue a career in whatever industry they decide, but additionally, I feel it represents the growth of the female sex and femism within the legal sector.
Forget Kim Kardashian. Women should be empowered by strong minded women who are focused and ambitious in whatever dream they choose to pursue.
I simply cannot wait to join an industry of such powerful, intelligent and determined people. A route that is tough, but will be so satisfying!

We need to stand up against injustice faced my women in india. 🙂
This is dedicated to all the beautiful, strong and empowered Indian women out there. .
As I close my eyes in deep slumber;
I see an Indian girl, a princess;
Dark brown curls, intent eyes;
Their depth peirced through one’s soul;
Like her silhouette pierced her shadow;
Like the broken strings of her heart;
Her soul was shattered;
Like on a frosty winter night;
Her vision, hazy like her smile;
She was a girl;
And that was her guilt;
She had dreamt of a freeland;
Respect for her love, her choice;
Acceptance for her flaws;
She a warrior;
Like a fish moving against the current;
For the world’s ways were tiring;
She was a wave that hit only a few;
Someone sensitive, unlike her spent heart;
Soon her hopeful slumber had ended;
She prayed for her child;
So she wouldn’t suffer her fate;
The fate of being just a soliloquy.
The fate of every Indian girl.
