Cody & I had one of the best dates the other day at the beach. It was the first date, just the two of us, in a long time & it was much needed.

Sunday’s are typically my go-to day for prepping for the week as they are usually the least busy of my days. Sometimes I prep the entire week’s meals, and sometimes I just prep breakfasts and snacks and then make extra at dinner each day to prep for the next day, but one way or another there is always meal prepping going around here! I figured it might be beneficial to update you all on my progress 😁 i haven’t had access to a scale nor a full body mirror since being home so this is the best I could do!! (Enjoy my little sister’s drawings on the shower wall 😂) -
So far I have: -
- Lost 2 inches around my upper thigh
- Lost 1 inch above the knee
- Lost 1 inch around the waist. - (first picture is posed, second picture is not posed btw) -
It may not sound like much but i am so proud of myself! I’ve felt so much more confident today already than I have in a long long time! Also taking care of my insides has helped immensely as well. I’ve felt less sluggish and tired. I really don’t even need coffee anymore! It’s more of something to sip on just for fun (but only black coffee☕️). -

EDIT: Forgot to mention that this is also my progress since starting @rachael_attard’s 8 week program “3 Steps to Skinny Legs.” It’s an 8 week program according to body type that leans out your WHOLE body (not just your legs! But that’s always been a problem area for me!). PLEASE check out her profile, AND her blog. She’s helped me so much in these last few weeks and she doesn’t even know it! :)
Philippians 4:7: Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
