Started my Sunday with an awesome outdoor photoshoot at @loscampeonesgym with @johnlatourelle! Can’t wait for finished product!
So... today was actually my last leg day (not last Thursday 😂). I’m not complaining though, I love training legs! Gotta thank my training partner @tobykhounviseth for pushing me through each set and giving it 110% each workout!

It’s a grind, man. A hard grind. But it’s gotta be done. This is the stuff I didn’t wanna do before, and it’s the stuff I sure as heck don’t wanna do now...but I do it. Because I have a vision for myself of what I want, and I know what it takes to achieve it. And...because I promised some kids in Haiti I would 🤷🏻♂️
This is the mindset you need. Doesn’t matter if it’s the gym, your job, your relationship, or a personal project. Visualize the connection between what you’re doing now, and where you want to be. Understand what your goal looks like, and why you’re doing the work now.
This concept is so fascinating to me yet so simple. I dread these 30ish minutes every day now. I have for 5 days. But I feel awesome when I’m done because I know where it’s getting me. Don’t forget that.

My focus on this exercise for the past few weeks has been to maintain the weight being used while improving my rep execution and tempo. Always striving for improvement. #dothehardstuff
Peak week is here at long last 😈. Last week to push through and give everything I’ve got one more time! I’ve beaten the package I brought to Jr. Nationals for sure so I’m excited to know that I’ll be bringing my best package!

Top set was 4️⃣5️⃣5️⃣lbs x6 (shown). A little bit sloppy on the last few, but the bar kept rolling downhill on me. Drop sets were 6s @ 435lbs. 🔥—————————————————————
